A living organism is a multi-scale resonant transducer sitting inside a broadband field of all frequencies and probabilities — the zero-point field. Attention, emotion and symbol are the means by which the transducer phase-locks across its octaves and acts as a band-pass filter over that field. Coherence is the low-entropy, high-Q state that makes this work; incoherence scatters it. Read
